Under the patronage of His Royal Highness the Prince of the Eastern Region, Asharqia Chamber holds its annual ceremony on Tuesday, and honors the Chairman and members of its Board of Directors for the previous session
On Tuesday December 4th 2018, Asharqia Chamber of Commerce held the annual reception and ceremony of businessmen at the Grand Ballroom of the Sheraton Hotel, Dammam, under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz.
A number of businessmen from within and outside the region, as well as officials in various government departments and representatives of embassies, consulates, intellectuals and media professionals participate in the event.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Asharqia Chamber, Abdul Hakim bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khalidi, said that Asharqia Chamber is holding this ceremony at this time in light of the great role that it plays in welcoming all businessmen.
Al-Khalidi adds that Asharqia Chamber is holding this ceremony to achieve communication between all businessmen from different cities and governorates of the Eastern Province.
Al Khalidi pointed out that this year's ceremony will witness the honoring of the Chairman and members of the Board of Directors for the 17th session who served the Chamber and contributed to its activities, and were partners to their successes, and assume the responsibility of the community by working within the corridors.
He added: "During the past years, the Chamber has accomplished more achievements in the service of the country and the promotion of its development process. It has provided many initiatives at all levels, as we celebrate today the honor of honoring the Board of Directors of the Chamber at its previous session. We would like to thank the Council and to offer them sincere gratitude for what they offered in the service of our Kingdom in order to contribute to the development of the performance of our national economy, and in the interests of the business sector in the Eastern region."
Al Khalidi expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to all those who contributed to the success of the Chamber, including His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, and His Highness Prince Ahmed bin Fahd bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Eastern Region, for their patronage and continuous support for the Chamber's activities, as well as all those who participated in its activities, including current and former Board members.
He also thanks all the governmental and private bodies that cooperated with the Chamber and shared their successes.
Al Khalidi concluded by stressing that the annual reception is an occasion to live together in the light of the achievements of the Chamber during the last stages of its history, aspirations and future initiatives for a better future.
